WWE SmackDown Results, March 12th 2019, Latest SmackDown Live winners and video highlights

Shane McMahon kicked of SmackDown Live and stood in the ring for a minute without saying anything as the crowd chanted "You suck". He then called over a ring announcer to introduce him as 'the best in the world'. He then caught the announcer by the collar and made him do it again, this time with flair. Shane still wasn't satisfied and made him do it again before moving on.

He then started to explain his actions from Sunday night. he said his whole life, people have been asking him for favors to help further their careers. He said beating up The Miz in front of his dad gave him quite the rush and he wants to do it again at WrestleMania.

Ricochet, Aleister Black & The Hardy Boyz vs. The Bar, Rusev & Nakamura - 8 Man Tag Team match

Black and Nakamura kicked off the match and Ricochet was tagged in early on and hit a standing moonsault. Sheamus was in next and The Hardy Boyz hit a big double team move before Cesaro was tagged in. Rusev got a tag and tool down Jeff Hardy with a headlock.

Hardy tagged in Ricochet who went to work on Rusev with a huge dropkick. Rusev hit a big kick and dropped Ricochet on the outside as we headed for commercials. We returned to see Sheamus being thrown outside by Ricochet and Cesaro took the hot tag from the corner.

The Hardy Boyz hit a broken transmission and then a twist of fate before Jeff hit the Swanton Bomb. The match turned into chaos and the New Day came out and annihilated the Bar and then Nakamura and Rusev. Kofi hit a Trouble in Paradise on Rusev before they ended the onslaught.

Result: Ricochet, Aleister Black & The Hardy Boyz vs. The Bar, Rusev & Nakamura was called off due to interruption

Backstage, the Usos said that they got the New Day's message and they were ready for them.

Randy Orton calls out AJ Styles

Randy Orton came out to remind AJ Styles that he was nothing compared to him. He mocked AJ's career in the indies before AJ came out and said that guys like him would not have made it in his world. He mocked Orton's pose and finisher and Randy fired back about them copying the 'Too Sweet' gesture. AJ said he was surrounded by Superstars from the indies and then said he used Evolution, Edge and The Wyatt Family to stay relevant.

Orton said that this was his house and it was time for AJ to pay his rent, in the form of an RKO. AJ said if he wanted to face him so badly, they should do it at WrestleMania but Orton left without accepting the challenge.

Sonya DeVille vs. Asuka

DeVille went for kicks on Asuka but The Empress countered with kicks of her own and then threw her face first to the floor. Asuka went for the dropkick but Deville moved out and took advantage of the situation, landing a few kicks.

Asuka countered with quick punches and then a huge knee to the face of Deville. Asuka took out Deville, but Mandy Rose, who was ringside, got hit in the face.

Back in the ring, Asuka countered and put Deville in the Asuka Lock, and Deville tapped out.

Result: Asuka def. Sonya Deville

Backstage, The IIconics were challenging Women's Tag Team champions, Sasha Banks and Bayley, and that "their future" was on SmackDown.

Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair have a heated exchange

Becky Lynch was out and threw away her crutches to show that her injuries had surprisingly healed. She called out Charlotte who came out and said that she had waited for years to get the title back and she will do it at WrestleMania. Becky reminded her that She was the man and that she will not hold back anymore because she was fully healed.

Samoa Joe & Andrade vs. Rey Mysterio & R Truth

R-Truth and Andrade started the match off and Truth was dominating before Rey Mysterio was tagged in and so was Joe. We returned from commercials to see Mysterio in trouble as Andrade hit some big moves. Mysterio got a reversal and made the tag before Vega was taken out from ringside by Carmella.

Truth hit the Five Knuckle Shuffle but Joe took him down with a huge kick. Mysterio set up for a double 619 and hit both competitors. Joe hit a senton on Rey but he rolled the champion over for a three-count. Joe was furious and hit both Truth and Andrade with the Uranagi Splash before Rey retreated to backstage.

Result: Rey Mysterio & R Truth def. Samoa Joe & Andrade

Up next was a tag team match between Daniel Bryan & Rowan vs. Kevin Owens and Mustafa Ali which Mr. McMahon apparently told Bryan about moments ago.

Daniel Bryan & Rowan vs. Kevin Owens & Mustafa Ali

Daniel Bryan and Kevin Owens kicked off the match and KO flattened Bryan early with a running tackle. Ali and Rowan were tagged in and Bryan came back in to hit a submission on Ali. Rowan and Bryan double teamed Ali and Bryan hit a big top rope move.

Ali hit a huge dropkick but Bryan kept him from getting the tag. Ali hit a backstabber and Rowan came in the ring, KO and Ali hit a double superkick and sent Rowan outside. Rowan took a hot tag and sent Ali straight into the mat with a big slam before getting the three-count.

Result: Daniel Bryan & Rowan def. Kevin Owens & Mustafa Ali

Mr. McMahon puts a major hurdle in front of Kofi Kingston

Mr. McMahon walked out after the match and said that he was there to give the crowd what they wanted. He showed us a video reel of Kofi from the last few weeks. The New Day came out to again ask for the WWE title shot for Kofi and they argued with Vince about if he deserved it.

Vince then said that if he deserved to be in a title match, he would be in it already. He added that Kofi will go to Hall of Fame one day but only as a part of The New Day. Vince called him a B+ worker and Kofi was appalled. Kofi asked what he had to do to get the opportunity and Randy Orton walked out followed by Samoa Joe, The Bar, and Rowan. Vince said that Kofi will have to beat all of them in a gauntlet match next week to get the title shot. An all-out brawl broke out between The New Day and the heels and the New Day prevailed as the show ended.
