#3 Dolph Ziggler wins the WWE Championship

The Showoff Dolph Ziggler made a shocking return to SmackDown Live in the build-up to WWE Super ShowDown. The former Intercontinental Champion has involved himself in a feud with the WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, and he is all set to challenge the champion in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

A lot of people back Kofi Kingston to retain the title because he has held the title for a mere 2 months. The New Day member has proven himself as a worthy champion by defending the title week in and week out.

However, WWE can spring a surprise by having Ziggler win the coveted title at Super ShowDown. The key reason behind the title switch could be that the main event pictures of both shows have the same type of storyline.

The WWE Champion and the WWE Universal Champion both are faces, and if a heel captures the coveted title of SmackDown, it will give the fans a bit of variety in the top tier feuds.

Baron Corbin has been built as one of the mega heels of the heavyweight division in the past 5-6 months. With the way he was performing on SmackDown Live in 2016-17, I would not have been surprised had he won the world championship multiple times now.

But WWE totally messed up his character by having him take part in meaningless programs against Finn Balor and the Shield. He lost a lot of matches, including a squash match to Finn Balor at SummerSlam. At WrestleMania 35, WWE booked the Lone Wolf to retire WWE Hall of Famer, Kurt Angle.

His push has continued after the culmination of WrestleMania 35, as Corbin has made it to the Universal title match at WWE Super ShowDown.

Nobody wants the former Acting General Manager of RAW to win the Universal Championship at WWE Super ShowDown, but WWE can swerve us all by allowing Corbin to leave Saudi Arabia with the championship.

The Myth, Goldberg, will make his in-ring return at WWE Super ShowDown, where he will collide with the Dead Man, the Undertaker, for the first time ever. WWE had announced this match in the month of May, yet they have not built up any storyline for this match until now.

Both the legends are scheduled to appear on the weekly episodes this week, and we can expect them to give some hype to their match.
