WWE Superstars who are related to celebrities

WWE is a global entertainment wrestling promotion that is viewed by millions of people around the world. Wrestlers who perform in the ring are referred to as "Superstars" and "Heroes" by the company itself and by fans.

These Superstars put their body in the ring 300 days a year for our entertainment and they are prepared to go through pain and possible long-term injury so that they could do what they do best in the ring.

They themselves are already celebs as they are on TV, magazines and on the radio. It's not easy finding someone who has never watched WWE in their whole life. Some Superstars found more success outside the ring as they are featured in major Hollywood movies. WWE inducts a celeb every year to their celebrity wing Hall of Fame ceremony.

Celebrities do make appearances in WWE here and there especially at WrestleMania. Although many Superstars are featured in movies or franchises, some of them are still competing in the ring and it looks like they won't be leaving us for Hollywood anytime soon. #1 Sasha Banks is Snoop Dogg's cousin

Former Raw Women's Champion Sasha Banks is the first cousin of rapper Snoop Dogg. She claims that her cousin helped develop her in-ring persona. At WrestleMania 32, Snoop Dogg performed her entrance theme song live and walked with her down the aisle on her way to the ring. In 2016, Snoop was inducted into the celebrity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame by his cousin. In his HOF speech, he acknowledged her by saying:

“You know what’s so crazy about that scenario is that I remember in 2008 when I took her to Wrestlemania in Orlando, she was just a young little teenager, and I took her around to meet everybody that she wanted to meet, and you could just see her face light up.

“You could tell this is where she belonged. This is what she wanted to be. To see the love that you guys have been given her, to see her face on the side of the AT&T Stadium, I mean, I don’t even know what to say to express how great it feels as a family member to see my little cousin fighting for it all tomorrow. Love you, Sasha.”

#2 Nia Jax and Dwayne Johnson are cousins

Former Raw Women's Champion Nia Jax, one of the most dominant female superstars in WWE right now is Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's cousin. You may not remember who he is but he was one of the most popular superstars in WWE's history. He headlined WrestleMania several times and won the WWE Championship multiple times.

The Rock is also related to former Universal Champion Roman Reigns. He came to Reign's aid in the 2015 Royal Rumble match by helping his cousin come out victorious. The Rock is a wrestler turned actor and his days of wrestling in sweaty matches have possibly come to an end.
