WWE TLC 2019: 5 mistakes Vince McMahon shouldn't make at any cost- Title change, Unexpected return

WWE TLC 2019 is hardly the most anticipated pay-per-view event of the year but at the same time, it is the less-publicized pay-per-views that tend to deliver. This is because the roster consists mostly of the full-time performers, who're out to prove that WWE does not need to rely on part-timers anymore.

While we can be certain that the men and women in the card will put on a great showing, there's always the fear that booking can let them down. And hence, I'm here to suggest 5 mistakes that should not happen during the show because they may leave fans with a sour taste in their mouth.

I welcome you to weigh in and let me know if you agree or disagree with my assessment. I would love to hear your take on this article.

#5 Having Aleister Black lose to Buddy Murphy

I have no issue with Buddy Murphy and I think that he's a fantastic talent, but for Aleister Black to lose to him would take away all of the steam that he has gathered. Murphy is a great sports entertainer, but Black's gimmick is one that connects with people across the world. I can see him becoming a massive breakout Superstar based on the appeal of his gimmick alone.

Supernatural characters like him should be winning a lot more matches than they lose, and hence, Aleister Black should emerge victorious in this match. I wouldn't really mind a competitive match that proves that Buddy Murphy can hold his own against the best in the business of wrestling. We all know that he can.

This should propel Black to the next level to take on bigger stars like AJ Styles and Seth Rollins.

#4 Having Brock Lesnar show up to interrupt proceedings

Brock Lesnar has a very nasty habit of showing up when nobody wants him to and then, just overshadowing the proceedings with his presence. We all saw how a fantastic match between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman inside Hell in a Cell was disrupted by him and we also remember how he showed up out of nowhere, to become the winner of the Money in the Bank match.

Maybe it's a good thing to keep Brock Lesnar off the air most of the time because it just adds to his mystique and his appeal, considering that he's a man who's kept things private for most of his life. If he were to show up out of nowhere to set up his next feud, it would just take away from the hard work of the men in the ring and is not really needed.

WWE has gone back to the same well a whole variety of times, and it may make sense to build Brock Lesnar's new feud in a very different manner. Maybe WWE could portray him as the man who's intimidated for a change.

#3 Not having Seth Rollins on the card at all

This past week on WWE RAW, we saw a very interesting angle play out that has the whole world talking, at this point in time. Seth Rollins turned heel on Kevin Owens and aligned himself with the AOP in one of the most shocking moves of the whole decade.

Now, the go-home episode of RAW is done and Seth Rollins is not advertised to be on the card at all, I fear. I think because this is such a hot angle, something needs to happen at TLC that advances this storyline and induces people to tune in to the RAW episode after TLC 2019.

Maybe Kevin Owens comes out to cut a promo on the WWE Universe, and he is interrupted by the three heels, who lay the beatdown on him once again. Maybe this will force Kevin Owens, a man who prefers to work on his own to become allied with a team from the roster to even the odds.

I can imagine The Usos being perfect for the role, providing support to Kevin Owens against the AoP. Potentially, The Street Profits too can fulfill this role.

#2 Taking the titles from the Kabuki Warriors' waist

I guess the idea may be to make Becky Lynch 'Becky 2-belts' once again, but I'm not necessarily in favor of this move at all, to be honest. Becky Lynch is great as the face of the RAW Women's Division and Charlotte Flair will go down as one of the greatest WWE Superstars in history, male or female. But somehow, it seems like except for these two women, the whole RAW Women's Division is seriously lacking in real star power.

To have Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair be defeated by The Kabuki Warriors would establish the two Japanese Superstars as serious contenders for Becky's own championship, and could lead to a feud between Becky Lynch and Asuka, which should be quite entertaining. As I've mentioned already, it just seems like Becky Lynch is in a league of her own and unless Ronda Rousey comes back, nobody can potentially dethrone her at all. The need of the hour is to create new stars.

For the Kabuki Warriors to lose the titles would bury the division. It would make it a two-woman show. That's never a good thing at all.

#1 Not having Roman Reigns win his match to end the feud

We have seen Baron Corbin, the current King of The Ring barking like a dog on television and then we also saw a man in a dog suit make a SmackDown cameo. Not long ago, Roman Reigns was doused in dog food, in a move that left much of WWE's fanbase complaining that this was possibly the worst angle in the company's history.

I think I speak for everyone when I say that the storyline between Roman Reigns and King Corbin needs to end after TLC so that both men can go their separate ways. I think that Roman Reigns can go on to maybe challenge the likes of The Fiend or even elevate the Intercontinental Championship picture by taking on Shinsuke Nakamura.

At the same time, Baron Corbin can be used to elevate so many babyfaces in the roster who need elevating, from Mustafa Ali to even Elias. I can also potentially see him feuding with a returning John Morrison, in what should be a great program.

Basically, I want the babyface to score a big victory so that the whole 'dog' program can stop.
