WWE TLC 2019: 5 potential finishes for Bray Wyatt vs The Miz

TLC is WWE's final pay-per-view of 2019 so it comes as no surprise that perhaps one of the biggest stars of the year is one of the biggest talking points heading into the show. Bray Wyatt surfaced with a new personality and a terrifying alter-ego earlier this year and ever since SummerSlam he has been racking up the names on his list.

At TLC in Minnesota on Sunday night, it's interesting to note that it won't be the Fiend who will be in action since Wyatt has taken it upon himself to leave the Fun House and take on The Miz without his alter-ego. Is this because he doesn't see Miz as a big enough threat?

Last night Bray Wyatt followed through on his threat and decided to bring The Awesome star's family into the rivalry so things are now deeply personal between Miz and Wyatt which has definitely added an air of excitement to their showdown this weekend.

#5 Bray Wyatt comes out on top

Will Bray Wyatt's mind games help him to victory?

It's interesting to note that the Universal Championship isn't on the line on Sunday night, is that because Bray Wyatt didn't actually win the title, The Fiend did so he isn't allowed to defend it? Or is it just because Wyatt sprung this match on Miz and never intended to defend his title?

The fact that it's Fun House Bray Wyatt who is part of the match tomorrow night means that this could go one of two ways for the Universal Champion, he will either be able to prove that this version of Wyatt is just as powerful or he will lose the match and be sent back to the Fun House and not allowed back out.

This could also just be a stepping stone to The Royal Rumble so that Wyatt can be in the match twice as two different characters so this could just all part of the plan and Miz is just being used to make Bray Wyatt look stronger.

#4 The Miz defeats Fun House Bray Wyatt

Will The Miz come out on top at TLC?

As already noted, the Universal Championship isn't' on the line in this match between The Miz and Bray Wyatt but there hasn't been an official reason given for this. Wyatt definitely crossed the line when he involved Miz's child in the storyline when he left all of the Fun House puppets in Monroe Sky's crib.

When Miz and Maryse eventually got into their daughter she was playing with a doll that looked like a female version of The Fiend.

The Miz has stated many times that his family comes first and he could prove it this weekend. The Fiend is the star who is currently undefeated, not Bray so this could have all been set up to allow Miz to pick up the win over Wyatt and finally put these demons the rest.

Miz could continue the feud by picking up a win so that The Fiend has to step in and handle Wyatt's business, it has much more potential to be a headlining feud on SmackDown over the next few months if Miz is able to pick up the victory. The fact that there is no title on the line and no undefeated streak means that the door is open here for a Miz victory.

#3 The female Fiend becomes a reality

Will Brya Wyatt's doll come to life at TLC?

Last night on SmackDown, Bray Wyatt unveiled a new character in the Firefly Fun House and it was a doll that looked like a female version of his alter ego. This means that there could be a female added to this storyline and it could well be Liv Morgan since many fans have been speculating that when she makes her return it will be as part of Wyatt's current storyline.

Liv Morgan was drafted over to Monday Night Raw back in October, so this is unlikely, but what would be interesting is if the female that's added to the Firefly Funhouse is Maryse. She would then be a big enough distraction for The Miz to lose his match against Bray Wyatt and allow him to prove that he has in-ring potential as well.

There's a reason why Wyatt went after Miz's family and if WWE gives this storyline the time it deserves heading into 2020 then this could easily be a stand out feud.

Maryse interfering in this match as The Female Fiend would definitely be a swerve that the WWE Universe was not prepared for.

#2 The Fiend shows up and causes a distraction

Will The Fiend return at TLC?

The Fiend isn't part of the match this weekend at TLC and given the fact that Bray Wyatt has claimed that he's a different person a number of times, this could be the perfect way for him to prove it. Wyatt probably thinks that he can defeat The Miz on his own without the help of his alter-ego but he can always call for him at some point in the match if he needs him.

It would be even more interesting if The Miz decides that he needs to keep an eye on his family so they will be at ringside watching the match. The Fiend could then come after Maryse, Monroe, and Madison, which would be enough of a distraction to help Wyatt pick up the win.

There is a reason that Miz's family has been targetted and it could lead to Brie and Daniel Bryan being dragged into a feud with Wyatt and his Fiend in the future. This could be one of the main reasons many members of the WWE Universe tune into the show on Sunday night, so hopefully, WWE delivers more mind games from The Fiend.

#1 Daniel Bryan returns

Will Daniel Bryan return to WWE at TLC and cost The Miz his match?

Ever since Daniel Bryan was taken from the ring on SmackDown two weeks ago and it seems as though The Fiend took his hair from him, he's been missing. There have been no updates regarding Bryan over the past few weeks and The Miz trying to find him was the reason this match was made.

There was a time when Bryan was forced to join The Wyatt Family and he could have been coerced by The Fiend once again. It would be a fantastic turn if Daniel Bryan turned out to be the long-haired doll that was seen on The Firefly Fun House and he returns alongside The Fiend on Sunday night.

This could be the way that Wyatt gains followers this time around, and Bryan returning wearing the same kind of Fiend mask would be fantastic, especially if it means that the next year of storylines would see Bryan trying to fight to free himself from the Fun House and the WWE Universe were then given the storyline that they were promised all those years ago when Bray first targetted him.
