The main event of WrestleMania 35 will see history made as women headline the Show of Shows for the first time in the event's 35 year history. Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair will close the show at the MetLife Stadium with the winner taking home both the WWE RAW and SmackDown Women's Championship.
The storyline started back around Survivor Series. The RAW before Survivor Series saw Becky Lynch lead an invasion of RAW by the SmackDown women. Lynch laid out Ronda Rousey with a steel chair but an errant right hand from Nia Jax saw Lynch left with broken cheekbones and a concussion.
She was replaced at Survivor Series by Charlotte Flair who faced Ronda Rousey instead. Charlotte lost the match at Survivor Series by DQ after a violent attack on the former UFC star.
Earlier this year in January, Becky Lynch entered and won the women's Royal Rumble to earn her date with Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania. Lynch was later replaced in the match by Vince McMahon who put Charlotte Flair in Lynch's spot. Lynch won her way into the match after Rousey helped her win by DQ at WWE Fastlane.
The big question now is - who will take home all the gold at WrestleMania? We have to say, at the moment it looks like the dream finish with Becky Lynch taking home the RAW and SmackDown Women's titles. We know that Vince McMahon is a big fan of Lynch and The Man recently signed a new and more lucrative contract with the company.
If it's not Lynch, it will probably be Charlotte Flair although it's a lot less likely. As for Ronda Rousey, there is talk of her taking a break from WWE after WrestleMania but that may just be a work.
PREDICTION: Becky Lynch wins the RAW and SmackDown Women's Championships
