2015 Russia Open: Day 2 Results

Ajay Jayaram over came not one but two opponents to move into the quarterfinals

Playing 2 matches on the same day can certainly be a difficult task but WorldNo.31 and 3^rd seed Ajay Jayaram showed great levels of fitnees to first beat Jarolim Vicen of Slovakia in the 3^rd round and then overcoming Russia’s Anatoliy Yarstev in the evening to move into the quarterfinals of the 2015 Russian Open.

In the Women’s singles Tanvi Lad overcame a tough second round match against Linda Zetchiri to move into the third round. In the mixed doubles, the apiring of Dinesh Chaudhry and Lalita Dahiya lost their second round match very convincingly, failing to reach even double didgit while the other mixed doules pairing of Akshay Dewalkar and Prajakta Sawant moved into the third round with an straight games victory.
