Dodgers ace Kershaw set to miss a month
Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw has a lower-back strain, scans confirmed on Friday.
Kershaw has been placed on the 10-day disabled list, Los Angeles announced. He missed five weeks in 2017 with the same injury.
Head coach Dave Roberts told reporters on Friday he expects Kershaw to be out for at least a month.
Brock Stewart has been recalled from Triple-A to replace Kershaw on the 25-man roster.

Kershaw had just returned from the disabled list on Thursday in a match up with the Philadelphia Phillies.
He threw five innings of four-hit, one-run ball, but did not throw a single pitch over 90 miles an hour.
