Nationals complete comeback against Phillies
The Philadelphia Phillies failed to come away with a win despite a strong start from ace Aaron Nola in MLB on Tuesday.
The Washington Nationals scored five runs in the final three innings to pull out a 5-4 victory over Philadelphia at Citizens Bank Park. The Phillies fell 4.5 games behind the Atlanta Braves for first place in the National League East with the loss.
Nola scattered two runs over seven innings and left the game with the Phillies leading 3-2.
Washington, however, began their comeback when Bryce Harper walked with nobody out in the top of the ninth. One batter later, Anthony Rendon followed with a two-run homer to put the Nationals ahead. Ryan Zimmerman added an insurance run when he scored on a throwing error later in the inning.

Wilson Ramos homered off Nationals reliever Justin Miller with one out in the bottom of the frame to cut the Phillies' deficit to a run. But Greg Holland entered and induced a double-play to secure the win.
The Nationals moved to 67-66 this year with the win while Philadelphia fell to 70-62.
Ender Inciarte went four for four with two RBIs in the Braves' 9-5 win over the Rays.
Indians starter Carlos Carrasco threw 7.2 scoreless innings and struck out 11 against the Twins. Cleveland pulled out an 8-1 victory.

Brewers starter Junior Guerra surrendered six runs in 1.1 innings on the mound against the Reds. Cincinnati came out on top 9-7.
Blue Jays infielder Aledmys Diaz went 0 for four with three strikeouts in his team's 12-5 loss to the Orioles.
Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Kenley Jansen helped his team make a nice double play.
