World Baseball Classic '23 kicks off from 8th March, 2023

The WBC 2023 will begin in the second week of March this year, just before the latest MLB season. Fans couldn't be more excited to see their star ball players don their national jerseys and take the battle to the dirt. Just like many other major global sporting events, this tournament is scheduled to play out every four years.

The majority of the teams competing have participated in at least one of the previous editions, however, there are three debuting nations this time around. These include Nicaragua, Great Britain, and the Czech Republic.

MLB has taken major steps to increase the viewership volume of the tournament and make it easier for ball players to represent their nations. But fans are most excited to see their stars from the major leagues, as this time the tournament is expected to see a surge in superstar ballplayers.

The World Baseball Classic starts on March 8. Games will be held at the Intercontinental Baseball Stadium in Taiwan, the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Chase Field in Arizona, and LoanDepot Park in Miami. Teams are grouped into four pools. Miami will host both the semifinals and the final.

Japan has won two installments of the tournament, and the defending champions are the United States of America. The other teams aren't exactly amateurs to the tournament, so the World Baseball Classic has excitement and adrenaline written all over it.
