Joe Musgrove had quite the season last year. He was a core member of the San Diego Padres' starting rotation, compiling a 10-7 record and a 2.93 ERA. He performed well enough to be voted into his first All-Star game.

It doesn't look like anything is going to stop him from continuing to shine in San Diego. The hard-throwing righty threw in the bullpen one day after getting four wisdom teeth pulled.

Getting one or two wisdom teeth pulled could put someone out of commission for at least a couple of days, but not Joe Musgrove. He's a man on a mission at camp right now.

San Diego Padres fans can't believe how tough Joe Musgrove is. Fans don't typically see this kind of toughness out of pitchers. Most of the time, they are the first group of players to hit the IL.

"4 on the same day is wild af," one fan tweeted.
"I had 4 wisdom teeth pulled in the beginning of December and my lip is still numb. This is gonna suck for him," said another fan.

Throwing in the bullpen a day after getting four wisdom teeth pulled is impressive. It really shows his commitment to his craft and his team.

Watch out for Joe Musgrove this season. The man is on a mission to bring the Padres back to the postseason.

Not many teams had as good of an offseason as the Padres had. They signed multiple players to better their team for the 2023 season.

Their biggest acquisition was signing All-Star shortstop Xander Bogaerts. Bogaerts was one of the best shortstops available in the free-agent market. He's an upgrade over Kim Ha-Seong, who will likely shift to second base.

It didn't stop there, though. The Padres also signed veteran sluggers Matt Carpenter and Nelson Cruz. Carpenter is coming off a fantastic 2022 season. He was a hit-machine for the New York Yankees until he fractured his foot in early August. Cruz didn't have the best season last year, but he was dealing with blurry vision, which he fixed with surgery in the offseason.

Fans also can't forget about Fernando Tatis Jr.'s return. He was one of the most electrifying players to watch before he was suspended for PED usage. With all the new and returning faces, the team will hold everyone's attention throughout the season.
