Yankees secure Lynn from Twins for Austin
The New York Yankees have acquired starting pitcher Lance Lynn from the Minnesota Twins in exchange for prospects Luis Rijo and Tyler Austin.
Lynn is a World Series champion and MLB All-Star but the 31-year-old has an abysmal 7-8 record with a 5.10 ERA this season in 102.3 innings pitched,
However, Lynn has allowed three or fewer runs in 11 of his last 13 starts.
According to reports, the Yankees will pay half of what remains on Lynn's one-year deal worth $12million, while the Twins will pay the other half.

Though Lynn has exclusively been a starter since 2012, the Yankees could throw him in the bullpen, especially during the postseason.
