When the 2015-16 Golden State Warriors failed to win the NBA Championship, did that elevate the status of the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls as the greatest team ever?

Probably. But we didn't the 73-9 Warriors to fail to realize how great this Bulls' team was. To win 72, when no team had ever 70+ games before is insane in its own right. To only lose nine games out of 82, is unbelievable, not to mention sealing the magical season with a championship (the franchise's fourth-ever and first of their second three-peat).

Like we did the famous Fab Five from the University of Michigan, here's a Where are they now - the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls edition.

Note: We are only sticking to major rotation players and have not considered those that were warming the benches.

#10 Jud Buechler

2017 Las Vegas Summer League Los Angeles Lakers v Dallas Mavericks
Jud Buechler - head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers at the 2017 Las Vegas Summer League.

Jud Buechler, being a second-round pick (38th overall) in the 1990 NBA Draft, spent most of his time bouncing around the league and being a role player. In a career spanning 12 seasons, he played for seven teams - New Jersey Nets, San Antonio Spurs, Golden State Warriors, Phoenix Suns, Chicago Bulls, Orlando Magic, and the Detroit Pistons.

He didn't have a lot of individual honors to his name, so clearly his most successful time came with the Bulls, who he played for 1994 to 1998. On the 1995-96 Bulls, he played about 10 minutes on the floor with averages of 3.8 points, 1.5 rebounds on 46.3% shooting from the field.

Now: He's been an assistant coach with the Los Angeles Lakers since 2016 under Head Coach Luke Walton. He was the head coach of the 2017 Lakers team that won the Las Vegas Summer League championship.

#9 John Salley

#22 John Salley
#22 John Salley

John Salley is one of only two members (Tim Duncan being the other) in NBA history to win an NBA championship in three different decades (1989 - Detroit Pistons, 1996 - Chicago Bulls and 2000 - Los Angeles Lakers). However, the most successful time for Salley was for the Pistons from 1986 to 1992.

His career was very uneven after that. In fact, he was a late addition to this Bulls team. It required him to come to terms for a buyout agreement with his then current team, the Toronto Raptors for him to be on the Bulls. However, for a late addition, he did average 11.2 minutes of playing time with numbers like - 2.1 points and 2.5 rebounds.

Now - Post his basketball career, Salley enjoyed quite a successful stint in the TV and films. He was the longtime host of the former Fox Sports Net show The Best Damn Sports Show Period. A noted Vegan, he is known to speak at Michigan's Vegfest since 2009.

He was arguably the greatest rebounding forward in NBA history. On April 10, 2011, the Pistons retired his jersey and later that year he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

Now - He's had quite the post-basketball career with appearances on TV, reality shows and movies. He recently (2015) befriended North Korea's President Kim Jong-un, which was seen as a move for 'hoops diplomacy'.
