There is still very little doubt over who the greatest basketball player of all time is, while the likes of LeBron James continuously challenge Michael Jordan, he is still the undisputed GOAT.

If you are an avid basketball fan it is hard not to know about Jordan's legacy and some of his incredible defining moments, the shot over Craig Ehlo and 'The Shrug' to name a few. In the words of Michael Jordan, he failed over and over and over again in his career, and that is why he reached the great heights of success all of us fans know too well.

Although Jordan is an undoubted great, GOAT's have poor games as well, so let's take a look back to Michael Jordan's worst games of his Chicago Bulls career.

#5 Bulls Vs. Magic, 1995

Stats: 19 Points, 5 Rebounds, 3 Assists, 8-of-22 FGA, 40 Minutes played

Result: Magic 94, Bulls 91

Regarded by many as the worst playoff game of Jordan's career. Ask anyone, if you had one person from any time from any place on the earth that you'd want to have the ball in their hands in the final seconds over the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals being three points down, it would be hard to find anyone who wouldn't say Michael Jordan.

But this night just wasn't one that is looked at with great fondness over the years for Jordan. After a poor shooting performance, being at only 36% FG percentage, a man by the name of Nick Anderson would make Jordan's night go from bad to worse as he stripped him in the final seconds of the game allowing the Magic to take a 1-0 lead in the series.

#4 Bulls Vs. Pistons, 1998

Stats: 19 Points, 6 Rebounds, 4 Assists, 7-of-25 FGA, 43 Minutes Played

Result: Pistons 87, Bulls 79

Nearing his second retirement, the 35-year-old legend had begun to show he was getting a little too old to dominate night in and night out for 82 games of a regular season. The 'Bad Boy' Pistons were once all over Jordan, keeping him away from the NBA Finals by eliminating the Bulls three years in a row early in Jordan's career.

While the stakes weren't quite as high for this regular season game, Detroit still went out of their way to stop the seemingly unstoppable.

Off, in every aspect of his usually perfect game, Jordan just couldn't find it in him to help his side overcome the Pistons, shooting 7 from 25 from the field at 28% and missing all three of his three-point attempts while only going 5 from 10 from the charity strike.

#3 Bulls Vs. Bullets, 1987

Stats: 13 Points, 7 Rebounds, 8 Assists, 5-for-20 FGA, 47 Minutes Played

Result: Bullets 106, Bulls 105

March 14, 1987, is the day the Washington Bullets enjoyed the luxury of facing a rare poor performance from Michael Jordan.

Michael Jordan scored the second-fewest points in his 1986-87 campaign at just 13, and if he had just played slightly closer to his abnormally high standards, he would have added to the extensive number of wins he achieved with the Chicago Bulls as they lost by just one point.

A 25% field goal accuracy along with a game-high seven turnovers from MJ allowed the Bullets to take advantage of this off night from the greatest player of all time and secure the win for their fans.

#2 Bulls Vs. Bucks, 1986

Stats: 11 Points, 4 Rebounds, 2 Assists, 3-of-17 FG, 31 Minutes Played

Result: Bucks 113, Bulls 90

Without a doubt, one of Michael Jordan's worst game of his Bulls career, a dismal 17% shooting accuracy from the field is not what people expect when they hear of Michael Jordan's illustrious career.

A massive 23 point victory for the Bucks, made the night get worse for MJ's Bulls side as they just couldn't get their offense to flow without their superstar running the show.

Only two assists for Jordan, as well as two turnovers, saw him take almost double the shots as the next highest scoring teammate as he was forcing shots all night in a failed attempt of finding any sort of rhythm to lead his team to a win on this night.

#1 Bulls Vs. Cavaliers, 1986

Stats: 8 Points, 1 Rebound, 1 Assist, 4-for-13 FG, 16 Minutes Played

Result: Cavs 123, Bulls 97

A horrible game for Michael Jordan completes this list, only eight points on just 31 percent shooting led to a 26 point loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The worst game in Jordan's career also goes as the only game that Michael Jordan did not reach double digits in scoring while wearing a Chicago Bulls jersey. That's over 900 games that Jordan played and scored 10 plus points but this was the only one where he failed.

While this was the down point of Jordan's career, it goes to show just how great he was. 12 years followed and Jordan set the record for most consecutive double-digit games by any player. At the time many thought this would be an unbreakable feat until just last season when LeBron James managed to surpass him.

It just goes to show how rarely Michael Jordan had an off game and why there is so little talk about them as they are massively outweighed by every buzzer beater, 40+ point performances that the GOAT delivered.
