Blazers star Lillard to miss fifth straight game
Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard has not played since December 20 due to a hamstring injury.
Damian Lillard will miss Monday's game against the Chicago Bulls due to a lingering hamstring injury, the Portland Trail Blazers confirmed.
Star Blazers point guard Lillard has now sat out five straight NBA games, and has not played since December 20.
The two-time All-Star is averaging 25.2 points, 6.4 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game this season.
Lillard originally injured his hamstring against the San Antonio Spurs earlier this month. He scored 17 points in the game before limping off the court.
With Lillard out, CJ McCollum should take up the scoring responsibility. The slick-shooting guard is averaging 21 points per game this season.
