Cavaliers' Thompson fined $25,000 for altercation
Cleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson has been fined $25,000 by the NBA for his actions at the end of game one of the NBA Finals.
Thompson was called for a flagrant two foul in the final three seconds of the Cavaliers' 124-114 loss when he elbowed Golden State Warriors guard Shaun Livingston in the face after he took a shot with the game in hand.
Thompson was ejected for the foul.
Green then clapped in Thompson's face and the Cavaliers center shoved the ball at the Warriors forward in disgust.
The foul on Livingston was also downgraded to a flagrant one.
"Cleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson has been fined $25,000 for failing to leave the court in a timely manner following his ejection and for shoving the basketball in the face of Golden State Warriors forward/center Draymond Green," the NBA said in a statement.
Game two of the NBA Finals is on Sunday.
