Bradley Beal was selected by the Washington Wizards as the third overall pick in the 2012 NBA draft. He was very impressive in his rookie season, averaging 13.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. He subsequently made his way into the All-Rookie First Team.

Beal also became an NBA All-Star after making it to the prestigious list last year, for the first time in his career. He is currently on the shortlist of the best shooting guards in the NBA, and is definitely an asset for the Wizards.

The Washington Wizards were up against the Los Angeles Clippers, who were on a four-game winning streak. Beal scored 41 points and John Wall scored 18 to help the Wizards outlast the Clippers.

Beal shot 56.5% from the field on the night, including an eye-catching 6-for-10 from long range. He was also efficient from the free-throw line and went 9-for-11.

The Eastern Conference favorites Cleveland Cavaliers traveled to Washington for a regular-season matchup against the Wizards. Bradley Beal scored 41 points, but could not secure the win for the Wizards.

Beal finished the night shooting 15-for-26 from the field, with a field-goal percentage of 57.1. He attempted a game-high 14 shots from beyond the arc and connected 6 of those.

After losing by as many as 23 points against the Mavericks in Dallas, the Wizards traveled to Oklahoma for a game against the Thunder. Beal scored 41 points for the Wizards but Russell Westbrook answered back with 46 points to take the Thunder home.

Beal shot 15-for-26 from the field, including 6-for-11 from the three-point line. He also had 12 rebounds and 7 assists on the night to put together a double-double.

Stat line: 42 points, 4 rebounds and an assist on 63.6% shooting

The Washington Wizards had a bad start to the season and were 3-9 when they hosted the hapless Phoenix Suns at home. On a night when John Wall struggled to get going, Beal carried the team on his shoulders and took them home.

Beal had 16 points in the first half, and the Wizards went into the half-time with a 50-46 lead. He continued his strong performance in the third quarter and scored 12 points, but the Suns clinched the quarter 31-21.

In the fourth quarter, it was again Beal he showed up and scored 13 points to help the Wizards get the 106-101 win.

The 42 points he scored that night was his then career-high mark, and the Washington Wizards improved to 4-9 on the season.

The Wizards were on the second night of a back-to-back schedule, after losing to the Utah Jazz by as many as 47 points one day prior. They traveled to Portland to take on the Trail Blazers, where Beal exploded for 51 points to help the Wizards get the win.

Beal started the game hot with 12 points in the first quarter, and the Wizards took a 24-22 lead. The 25-year-old shooting guard got even better as the match progressed, registering a staggering 36 points in the second half.

He finished the night shooting 21-for-37 from the field, with a field-goal percentage of 56.8, including 5-for-12 from the three-point line.

This was Beal's first (and only) 50-point game in the NBA, and no other starter for the Wizards scored in double-digits. The Wizards won the game, 106-92.
