#4 Klay Thompson breaking single-game three-point record
Klay Thompson did not have the kind of start he would have liked to the 2018-19 NBA season and after a string of poor performances, a lot of pressure was built on Klay and everyone knew it was about time he went off.
Thompson, who is one of the key players for the Warriors, is known for getting hot in no time and knocking down three-pointers at great accuracy. Coming off a pale performance against the Brooklyn Nets where he scored 18 points on 8-for-17 shooting, including 1-for-5 from behind the arc, Thompson exploded for 52 points and led the Warriors to a blowout win against the Chicago Bulls.
En route to his 52 points, he knocked down 14 three-pointers and broke Steph Curry's record of 13 made three-pointers. He finished the night shooting 18-for-29, including 14-for-24 from downtown.
Klay only featured in three quarters of action and did not play in the fourth quarter. This has to be a very memorable moment for Klay and also the Warriors because, with the odds stacked up against him, he produced a standout performance to snap out of shooting slump.
