San Antonio Spurs' shooting guard, DeMar DeRozan, recently made an appearance on JJ Redick's popular podcast, 'The Old Man and the Three'. The two NBA stars discussed a variety of topics, after which the topic of LeBron James came up.

Redick introduced the subject and then asked DeRozan what it was like facing LeBron James in the playoffs. DeRozan was full of praise for King James and said the following:

"It's definitely different. I remember for so many years, I got so much flak. Being the better team or whatever, people not realizing it is tough to get past this [expletive]. You know, him coming to the west and doing the same thing is a testament to his greatness."

DeRozan and Redick also gave LeBron James credit for his exceptional basketball IQ and awareness. LeBron James is playing in his 10th NBA final, which is more than what some franchises have managed.

Notably, James has faced the Toronto Raptors in the postseason quite a few times in recent history, and he's managed to come out on top on every occasion. A constant thorn in the Raptors' side, King James ensured that the star duo of DeRozan and Kyle Lowry didn't reach the NBA finals till the time he was in the Eastern Conference.
