The South East Asian Basketball Association (SEABA) U-18 basketball championship is set to start with four teams – Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore – battling it out for the two qualifying spots for the 23rd FIBA Asia U18 Championship.
The 9th edition of the SEABA U18 Championship will be held on the south-eastern coast of Borneo in Sabah province of Malaysia.
The top two teams from the 23rd FIBA Asia U18 Championship will qualify for the 23rd FIBA Asia U18 Championship to be played in Doha (Qatar) from Aug 19 – 28, 2014.
The championship will be held in a round-robin format at the end of which the top two teams will qualify to represent SEABA.
