Tamil Nadu born off-spinner, Washington Sundar has been included in India's T20 squad for the Australia tour. The 3-match T20I series is set to begin from November 21st at Gabba. Sundar is the only off-break bowler featuring in the 16-member squad.

The teenager, Sundar like his fellow statesman, R Ashwin made a shift from batting to being an off-spin bowler. He made his international debut on December 2017 against Sri Lanka, though has just played a solitary ODI and 7 T20Is for India so far.

In IPL 2017, he was brought in by the now-defunct Rising Pune Supergiants and the youngster bowled extremely well in the tourney, steering his team to the finals. He later had a good outing in T20Is as well, having taken 10 wickets in 7 matches at an average of 16.90.

Chahal came into limelight after performing well for the Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore in a couple of IPL seasons.
