#4 Chris Gayle

West Indies v Zimbabwe - 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup

Chris Gayle, the Universe Boss, as he is known for his exploits in T20 cricket, was a big name even before the T20 format arrived. The giant West Indian, one of only 2 players to have scored a World Cup double hundred, is nearing the 10,000 ODI runs mark. He finds himself in a strange situation though having to play the qualifiers to make it to the 2019 World Cup.

But should Windies make it to the 2019 World Cup, which they are expected to, Chris Gayle will be vital to Windies’ chances in what will be his fifth and last World Cup. Gayle is one of the few players to have debuted in the 90s and still playing international cricket (he has played under 13 ODI captains!).

Chris Gayle will be almost 39 by 2019 World Cup. And he and the Windies team would definitely want to stay true to his captain's words "..About time we win an World Cup".

Matches- 275 Runs- 9420 Average- 37.09 Hundreds- 22
