Ever since its inception in 2008, the IPL has seen several brilliant cricketers play in the tournament. Many of them got the opportunity to lay their hands on the glorious trophy but sadly, many could not get the opportunity to do so.

There have been many players you may not know who have won the IPL. However, what may make your jaws drop is the following list of players who have won the IPL multiple times.

#5 Abhimanyu Mithun- 2015 and 2016

Abhimanyu Mithun did not have a very memorable IPL career with only 7 wickets to his name. Many are familiar with the fact that Mithun played a couple of seasons for Royal Challengers Bangalore including their best season till date i.e. 2011 when they reached the final.

However, what most people do not know is that the pacer also featured in two IPL winning campaigns. Mithun was sold to the Mumbai Indians in the IPL auction of 2015 for a price of 30 lakh. However, due to the presence of the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Lasith Malinga and Mitchell McClenaghan, Mithun never played a single match for MI. Mumbai Indians eventually went on to win the title by defeating Chennai Super Kings in the final.

The following year, he was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for 30 lakh. Once again, Mithun had to sit in the dugout for the entirety of the tournament as SRH became the champions.
