Muralitharan is one of best spinners that have ever played the game. He was easily the best off-spinner of all time.

He was a big spinner of the ball and such was his mastery that he could turn the ball on a table.

Amongst spin bowlers, he was the highest wicket-taker against India, which tells you how good he was.

He took 800 wickets in 133 Test matches, while against India he took 105 wickets in 22 Tests.

Nathan Lyon is one of the modern day greats as far as spin bowling is concerned. He has been the flag bearer of Australia's spin bowling department since 2011.

Arguably, the best Australian spinner post-Shane Warne era, Lyon is a big spinner of the ball. He has won many matches for Australia. The best thing about Lyon is that he has performed all around the world.

Any spin bowler who has a good record against India is bound to be good, Lyon has bowled some excellent spells against India and he really relishes coming to India.

So far, he has taken 306 wickets from 78 Test matches, while against India he has taken 64 wickets from 14 Tests.

He used to get the ball to spin and bounce viciously, also, he was one of the earliest exponents of the arm ball.

He was the first spinner to cross the landmark of 300 Test wickets.

He took 309 wickets in 79 Test matches, while against India he took 63 wickets in 15 Tests.

Derek Underwood is arguably the best left-arm spinner England has ever produced. He was known for his accuracy.

As his nickname "Deadly" suggests, Underwood was deadly on damp pitches. He had the ability to run through sides on such wickets.

Underwood took 297 wickets in 86 Test matches, while against India he took 62 wickets in 20 Tests.
