Australia coach Justin Langer is not satisfied with retaining the Ashes urn but said on Tuesday the aim for his side remains to win the series outright.
The tourists currently lead England 2-1 and victory - or a draw - in the final Test at the Oval will give Australia their first series win in England for 18 years.
Langer also denied reports that Steve Smith, Australia's top run scorer and outstanding performer during the Ashes, mocked England spinner Jack Leach while celebrating at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Pictures from Manchester showed Smith wearing a pair of glasses in an apparent reference to Leach but Langer said this was related to former Australia opener Chris Rogers.
