Ashes 2019: "Winning the Ashes is not down to one player" - Trevor Bayliss
England head coach, Trevor Bayliss, said on Tuesday that winning the Ashes Test Series between England and Australia will not be "down to necessarily one player on either side," as he commented on Steve Smith missing the third Test at Headingley Stadium due to his concussion diagnosis.

"Yeah I went up to their medical room to check on him after when he came off. It's something you never like to see," added Bayliss.

But when asked about Jofra Archer's fast bowling, Bayliss said that it was good for England to have "someone able to make the batters jump around."

The third Ashes at Headingley starts on Thursday, and Bayliss is likely to consider reshuffling his top seven as his side look to level the Ashes.

Jason Roy is one of those who may come under the microscope, with his early outings as Burns' partner failing to impress.
