Australia enlist Bolt to sharpen up Ashes preparations
Olympic sprinting superstar Usain Bolt turned his hand to cricket in Melbourne as part of Australia's Ashes preparations.
Australia will hope to be quick between the wickets during the Ashes after a training session with Olympic sprinting legend Usain Bolt in Melbourne.
Bolt – a keen cricket fan – joined Steve Smith's side as they prepared for the opening Test with England at the Gabba.
A series of social media posts – one labelled 'Coach Bolt' by the Jamaican - showed the eight-time Olympic gold medallist setting the Australian side off on a sprint with their bats at the MCG, while also showing his forward defensive technique.
Bolt then strapped on the pads to show his own skills on the cricket pitch, before a customary 'lightning bolt' pose on the outfield.
