Sunil Narine was responsible for turning around the fortunes of KKR from table laggers to title winners. He has been an integral part of the team and was one of the two players to be retained by KKR. In 2015, his bowling action was found to be illegal and he was banned from playing international cricket. He had to undergo a tough transformation and remodel his action.

His best bowling performance in the IPL came against Kings XI Punjab. With IPL being a batsman dominated game, such bowling performances lend some balance to the equation. His bowling wowed almost everyone and he weaved his magic by claiming a five-wicket haul for just 19 runs.

With the batsman not able to read the variations of Narine, he ran riot on the slow wicket of Eden Gardens. The highlight of that performance was the dismissal of Shaun Marsh who was bowled by a carom ball.
