Rohit Sharma is one of the stalwarts of IPL cricket. He started his career with Deccan Chargers and played for them in the first three seasons. He later moved to Mumbai Indians in 2011. The move has worked wonders for both Rohit and the Mumbai Indians.

Mumbai Indians, who couldn't win an IPL title till 2012, won three titles in the span of six years under Rohit Sharma. Rohit, who couldn't cement his place in the shorter format in the Indian team, then became one of the star performers in the International circuit after his move to Mumbai Indians.

The Indian standby captain has aggregated 4493 runs and is the third leading run-scorer in IPL history only behind Raina and Virat. He has one century and 34 half-centuries against his name. He also has taken 15 wickets from his 60 overs which includes a hat-trick.

Here are the three top knocks by Rohit Sharma in the Indian Premier League.

After being asked to bat by the Deccan Chargers, KKR scored 160 runs. While chasing, Deccan Chargers were in a state of bother as they require 21 off the last over to pull off a sensational win.

While everyone else thought that KKR would win this game, the 'Hitman' had other plans. He scored two sixes and two fours in that over helping the Deccan Chargers to win the game by six wickets. Rohit also grabbed the Man of the Match award for his last over heroics.

Though the former Deccan Chargers star has centuries and double centuries against his name, his innings of unbeaten 32 off 13 balls must be one of his most special knocks.

The Deccan Chargers eventually went on win the 2009 IPL season.
