Champion Indian wrist-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal holds the record for the most wickets in IPL history. The former RCB mainstay has taken 187 wickets in 144 innings @ 21.68/7.66.


Former West Indies and Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Dwayne Bravo is currently at thr second spot in leading wicket-taker’s list.

Bravo, who called time on his IPL career last year, has 183 wickets against his name in 161 matches @ 23.82/8.38.





Third on the list is veteran Indian wrist-spinner Piyush Chawla, who has taken 179 wickets in his 181-match career thus far.

Wrist-spinner Amit Mishra and veteran off-spinner R Ashwin round-off the top-5 with 173 and 171 wickets respectively.

Only two seamers currently find a place in the top-10. Legendary MI pacer Lasith Malinga, who dominated the No.1 spot for years, has slipped to the sixth spot, while India’s Bhuvneshwar Kumar is at eighth position. Malinga took 170 wickets in just 122 matches, while Bhuvi has thus far accounted for the same in 160 outings.


Sunil Narine (163 wickets in 162 matches), Ravindra Jadeja (152 wickets in 226 matches), and Harbhajan Singh (150 wickets in 163 matches) are the remaining entrants in the top-10.
