The 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) was a pulsating affair, glittered with memorable performances from players across skill sets.


But, no one shone brighter than Rajasthan Royals' Jos Buttler.

The swashbuckling opener hammered 863 runs in 17 innings @ 57.53/149.05 with four 100+ scores. He won the coveted 'Orange Cup' and was also adjudged the "Most Valuable Player".


As a result, the RR cricketer accumulated a total of 387.5.points to finish as the No.1 ranked player.

Gujarat Titans skipper Hardik Pandya finished at the 2nd spot for his all-round impactful performances, which propelled his team to their maiden title in their debut season.


Hardik scored 487 runs @ 44.27/131.27 besides taking 8 wickets @ 27.75. He also affected six run-outs, ultimately finishing with 284.5 points.

Superstar KKR all-rounder Andre Russell accumulated 281 points for his stellar performances with both bat and ball to earn the 3rd rank. Dre Russ scored 335 runs at a strike rate of 174.48 besides taking 17 wickets @ 16.35.

Rajasthan Royals seamer Prasidh Krishna and Punjab Kings all-rounder, Liam Livingstone finished at 4th and 5th rank respectively after garnering 273 and 265.5 points respectively.

While Krishna took 19 wickets in 17 matches @ 29 and a whopping 200 dot balls, Livingstone was impactful with both bat and ball. Besides smashing 437 runs at a strike rate of 182.08, the English cricketer also chipped in with 6 wickets with his handy leg-spin. He also took 6 catches.
