LSG 2023 Head Coach
Former Zimbabwean cricketer Andy Flower is the head LSG coach 2023. Flower has previously worked as an assistant coach for the Punjab Kings franchise in the Indian Premier League. He also has coaching experience of various other T20 leagues on the planet.
Flower played international cricket for Zimbabwe from 1992 to 2003. He represented his nation in 63 Tests and 213 ODI matches. Flower also played domestic cricket for English county Essex and Australian team South Australia.
LSG 2023 Batting Coach
There is no specific LSG coach for batting, but the team has former Indian batters Gautam Gambhir and Vijay Dahiya in their backroom staff. Gambhir is a former T20 World Cup and ICC Cricket World Cup winner. He even won two IPL trophies as a captain.
Dahiya never played in the IPL. He represented the Indian cricket team in two Test matches and 19 ODIs during 2000 and 2001.
LSG 2023 Bowling Coach
Former South African tall fast bowler Morne Morkel will be seen as the Bowling Coach for LSG in IPL 2023. With a vast experience of international cricket, Morkel comes as a complete package for the Super Giants as their Coach for the season. He has played a number of IPL seasons with various franchises like KKR, RR and DC and even emerged as the Knight Riders’ top wicket taker in the 2014 edition of the tournament.
LSG 2023 Fielding Coach
South African legend and undoubtedly one of the finest in the game, Jonty Rhodes has been appointed as the Fielding Coach of LSG for IPL 2023. Rhodes has set a benchmark for himself which no one has been able to surpass as his techniques stand out when it comes to fielding in cricket.
Having stayed at the Mumbai Indians camp for a long time and then for a few seasons with the Punjab Kings, he is a well-versed coach who knows the technicalities and the crucial aspects of these massive tournaments.
