Kolkata, Sep 26 (IANS) West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday congratulated the Indian cricket team for registering a win on their 500th Test appearance.
"Congratulations Team India for winning. May India continue to shine in the world of all sports in the days to come," Banerjee tweeted.
The chief minister's comments came hours after India cruised to a 197-run win against New Zealand on the final day of the Kanpur Test.
