It was an exciting day of cricket on the 3rd day of Ranji Trophy 2018/19. Uttarakhand defeated Mizoram by an innings and 56 runs to qualify for the quarter-finals stage.

In other matches, Mumbai defeated Chhattisgarh by nine wickets to end the season. Odisha defeated Goa by 276 runs in Elite Group C, Haryana defeated Services by six wickets in Elite Group C.

In Plate Group, Sikkim and Bihar register contrasting wins over their opponents. The best match of the day was Andhra Pradesh defeating Madhya Pradesh by 307 runs.

Madhya Pradesh lost their last 7 wickets for 0 runs to be bowled out for 35.

Mumbai versus Chhattisgarh ( Wankdehe Stadium, Mumbai)

Mumbai defeated Chhattisgarh by nine wickets in their last league match. Needing 14 runs to win on the third day, Mumbai won the match easily.

Madhya Pradesh versus Andhra Pradesh ( Holkar Stadium, Indore)

Andhra Pradesh defeated Madhya Pradesh by 307 runs on the third day. Andhra Pradesh were bowled out for 300 in their second innings.

Setting the target of 342 runs to win, Madhya Pradesh could only score 35 runs. Madhya Pradesh were 35 for 3 before losing their last 7 wickets for 0 runs in 23 balls.
