He is a left-handed batsman and a left-handed fast bowler. Arjun made his Twenty20 debut on 15 January 2021, for Mumbai in the 2020-2021 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy against Haryana. He figured in two matches during the tournament, picking up a single wicket in each match.
On his debut, the junior Tendulkar took one wicket for 34 runs from 3 overs.

Arjun went on to play his first match back on 22 January 2010, at the U-13 Tournament in Pune. In November 2011, while playing for his school, Dhirubhai Ambani International, he took 8 wickets for 22 runs.
Earlier, the very same year in January, Arjun played his first national-level match at the Cadence Trophy Tournament in Pune.
