Shikhar Dhawan, the Indian international cricketer, is the father of three children - one son and two stepdaughters. Shikhar Dhawan's kids can often be seen cheering their dad from the stands.

Zoravar Dhawan

Initially, Shikhar Dhawan’s family was against his decision to marry Australia-based former kickboxer, Ayesha Mukherjee. Dhawan made them consent to it later on. It was in 2009 the couple got engaged and after three years, they got married. In 2014, the cute couple was blessed with a son. They named him Zoravar Dhawan. Shikhar loves his wife Ayesha and his whole family. In several Instagram posts, he can be seen spending some quality time with his family and his spouse.

Furthermore, Shikhar Dhawan's son, Zoravar, bears a striking resemblance to his father Shikhar Dhawan. Most of the player's social media posts involve him spending time with his son and having a gala time. In the midst of the pandemic, he even shared a picture where he coupled two photos in one. The picture in the top half is of his son Zoravar whereas the other one is from Shikhar Dhawan's childhood. Both can be seen sitting in a chair and looking exactly the same. Shikhar captioned it, "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree".

Rhea and Aliyah Dhawan

Shikhar Dhawan and his wife Ayesha Mukherjee have a unique love story. Ayesha is about ten years older than Shikhar, and already had two girls, Rhea, and Aliyah, from her previous marriage. There were several questions that were raised on their union. But, Dhawan's mother was extremely supportive of this match.

Before tying the knot, Ayesha ensured that her daughters have a warm relationship with Shikhar. Shikhar was also keen on that. Eventually, after defying all odds, the two got hitched.

In fact, Dhawan was once asked in an interview about the challenges he faced whilst getting along with both the girls, and here is what he replied:

“It wasn't difficult at all. Joh cheez kudrat se hoti hai woh ekdum aapki zindagi mein dhal jaati hain. Meri kismet mein thi meri do betiyaan, toh woh ekdum se meri zindagi mein aa gayi. It just clicked. Today, the way they love me, I feel so fortunate.”

On Women’s Day of 2017, Dhawan posted a cute photo of himself with the lovely ladies of the house to wish them.

Shikhar Dhawan ensures he gets quality time with his children despite his hectic schedule. Be it taking his children for a ride to the park, getting them involved in cool activities, having a meal with them together, or anything else, the cricketer-father does not miss a single opportunity to have some pleasant moments with his little ones.
