Bond with the Indian Captain

Currently, Virat Kohli’s mother resides in Gurgaon, whereas Virat along with his wife and newborn daughter, lives in Mumbai.

In an earlier interview, the Indian skipper recalled how his mother was not pleased with his fitness routine initially. He had to assure her that he was not getting weak, instead he was doing it for a leaner and fitter body required for his profession.

"Tu bada kamjor ho gaya hai, tu kuch khata hi nahi hai," his mother was worried about his fitness routine. "They (Mothers) didn't understand the difference between having concern and having professionalism towards the sport you're playing. For them, if the child is not looking chubby, there's something wrong with him!" the Indian captain funnily added.

Virat has gone on to redefine fitness as far as Indian cricket is concerned.
