A box full of distinctive flowers came particularly for the wedding. There was a proper DJ, an orchestration of Dhol and Nagadas, and what not. Bearing everything in mind, the expense of the wedding would have easily touched a good INR 100 crores.

Since it was a personal matter, the team, along with Vishal, respected the couple's privacy and wanted them to live their special moments freely. Also, to make the wedding video unique, Punjabi planned to give it a musical effect. He tried to do something fresh instead of relying on Bollywood poetry. The Sufi song “Peer Vi Tu” was composed for the couple's wedding video. It was sung by Mohan Kannan and Harshadeep Kaur.

For the D-day, the groom looked sharp in an ivory raw silk sherwani hand-embroidered in a vintage Banarasi pattern, with an old rose silk Kota safa. The ceremony took place on Monday at a resort in a restored 13th century Tuscan village in Italy, and Sabyasachi made sure there was a timeless aura about the outfits and accessories for the bride and groom.


The House of Sabyasachi designed the clothes for both bride and groom for all the functions - engagement, Mehendi, sangeet, the wedding and post-wedding dinner. They also provided heritage jewellery from their newly-launched Sabyasachi label.
