Yuvi upbeat after second round of chemo

Indian cricket star Yuvraj Singh, who is under going treatment for a rare germ cell cancer in Boston, completed his second cycle of chemotherapy on Thursday. In his latest tweet, Yuvi said: “Second cycle has finished today! Had a bleomycin shot feeling weak but I’m sure tom will be a better day ! My next scan dated on 7th March.”

Bleomycin is an anticancer medicine used to stop tumour growth.

In a happy news to all his fans, Yuvraj’s doctor has reportedly stated that the dashing batsman can return to the playing field in May this year.

The 31-year-old cricketer has constantly engaged himself in tweeting in order to keep his well wishers and fans updated about his treatment in the U.S. Yuvi, who went to the States last month a little before the ODI team was selected for the CB Series in Australia, will continue with his treatment till the last week of March before the process of his rehabilitation starts early April.
