3 Best PC Games of 2016 That You Should Play Atleast Once

Not sure where to start when it comes to 2016 games. 2016 was a very weird year for the gaming community. There were some unexpected buggy glitchy releases in 2016 at the same time some unexpected good games. 2016 was not really one of the greatest year but not a wasted year either.

Games like Doom came out in 2016 and at the same time, there was No Man’s Sky – A huge disappointment. However, No Man’s Sky managed to turn around in the upcoming years and dealt with the community. Honestly, for the first time, I don’t want to rank the games, instead, I will mention a few of the best games from the year 2016. Don’t start a fight, this is not a ranking. The main reason for writing the article is to dig up some good games from the past and also help the Windows 7 users because they can still run all these games on their Windows 7 computer.

#XCOM 2

This is a game that can’t be left out of the list. Not just 2016 but XCOM 2 finds its way up to few of the lists even now in 2018. XCOM 2 came out early in 2016, 5th February. XCOM 2 was the sequel of XCOM: Enemy Unknown – the 2012 award-winning strategy game. XCOM 2 did not disappoint the fans either, it was easily one of the best strategy game of the year, if not the best.

The new game-play of XCOM 2 also offers you a lot of tactical flexibility, you can loot enemy vehicles to search for gears, rescue VIP personalities or just carry your fallen teammate to the extraction point. You can go on missions around the Globe, choose your missions – each of them are unique. Lastly, enjoy the multiplayer mode of the game.

DOOM

Do I even need to say anything? Alright, I will, for the sake of the ones that have not played this amazing adventure-shooter game. Doom was undoubtedly the best Action-game of the year as Doom was indeed the winner of “Best action game of the year” at the Game Awards.

Doom was incredibly good when it came out and surely the best shooter of 2016 also. The game is still very much popular – Recent reviews on steam are “Overwhelmingly positive” backs my argument.

The game was developed by ID software and published by Bethesda – May 13th, 2016 was when it came out. It came out as a reboot of the Doom franchise, the game was the 4th and probably the most successful installment of the entire series.

Doom returned as a fun and challenging modern day shooter game. Constant demon attacks, destructive guns, and fast-paced fluid movement made the game intense and nerve-wracking. You can either take on the single-player as you destroy the demons in the great depth of hell or you can join the multiplayer battle and take on your friends.

You simply can’t keep this game out of the 2016 list. Hitman was the goddamn best murder simulator of the year. This was one of the few games that did not let us down in 2016 while much-awaited games like No Man’s Sky failed to stand up to the expectation.

Hitman came out on March 11, 2016. The game is popular even in current time because of the amazing storyline and exotic locations. Agent 47 is the deadliest contract-killer of all time, get in his shoes as he travels the world to assassinate his targets in different locations.
