WWE 2K19's release is just around the corner. The game is set to release on October 9 while the fans who preordered the Woo! Edition and the Deluxe Edition can play it four days early ie on October 5.
With the game set for release, the most of the part of details of the game are announced.
The overalls of the wrestlers are also announced. However, the overalls of the wrestlers seem to be unjust.
Many fans say that buying the accelerator pack solves the problem. However, it's not about ratings, it tells us where the superstar stands in the eyes of WWE management. Here are five wrestlers who should have been rated higher or lower in WWE 2K19:
#5 'Demon' Finn Balor: Should have been Rated higher
We all know Finn Balor's booking has not been great since his return from injury in 2017. He has been a part of unmeaningful feuds and losing most of his matches this year. However, the same doesn't stand for his Alter Ego, 'The Demon' Finn Balor.
Whenever the Demon Balor shows up, the fans go crazy, his ring entrance is second to one(Undertaker's entrance is great) and dominate his opponents. This year, he dominated Baron Corbin and defeated him in under four minutes.
Sadly, even after considering that, 2K has given the demon an overall of 87-just two more from normal Balor.
I agree that 'the man' Balor's overall is justified, however, a person who dominates every person he enters the ring with should have been rated higher.
So far, he has defeated Seth Rollins, Bray Wyatt, Baron Corbin, and even AJ Styles. Demon should have been rated at least 89. He simply deserves that rating.
#4 Kevin Owens: Should have been Rated lower
Kevin Owens is no doubt, one of the best wrestlers in the world. However, he hasn't done anything on Raw that makes him get an overall of 88.
Owens is no doubt has the best mic skills in the WWE and can do anything the cruiserweights can do, however, he is more powerful than them.
However, this year, he hasn't done any destruction that he has been doing the past years.
Being on SmackDown, he lost consecutive matches to AJ Styles and wasn't able to defeat Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon.
On Raw, Kevin Owens feuded most part of 2018 with Braun Strowman which includes him getting thrown from ladder and steel cage.
He was even squashed by Strowman at SummerSlam. He hasn't done anything this year. He should simply have been 85 or 84 as he has been the same as Balor has been this year.
#3 The Undertaker: Should have been Rated higher
The Undertaker is a legend. We all know that his overall has considerably declined since his loss to Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. However, this year, The Undertaker is rated 87-does that make any sense?
After being a part of WWE for more than 28 years, The Undertaker has achieved more than anyone else ever can. His streak of 21-0 is truly a record and was only broken by Lesnar. The Streak includes legends like Triple H, Shawn Michaels, CM Punk and many more. Even he squashed John Cena this year.
Still, 2K has managed to give John Cena 89 and the Undertaker an 87. This really hurts. It feels like the Undertaker's legacy is hurt. He at least deserves 89.
#2 The Rock- Should have been Rated lower
We all know The Rock was one of the best wrestlers in the squared circle. However, what has he done as of late that makes him the highest rated wrestler in WWE 2K19.
Yes, The Rock with an aggregate overall of 93 is the one of the highest rated wrestlers in WWE 2K19. We all know the Rock is a seven-time WWE Champion, however, how can 2K rate him higher than Stone Cold Steve Austin or the Undertaker(all his attires).
The Rock getting 91 might have sounded good as Steve Austin and John Cena'13 have defeated him. Not only that, he hasn't wrestled any match in three years and simply shouldn't have been the highest rated wrestler in the game.
#1 AJ Styles- Should have been rated higher
We can understand why Brock Lesnar was the highest rated wrestler: Because of being the reigning, defending, undisputed Universal Champion for more than 500 days. If that's so, why wasn't Styles rated higher?
AJ Styles has been a WWE Champion for more than 300 days. He is the cover star of the game and possibly the best wrestler in the world. He even defends the championship, unlike Lesnar.
I don't say Styles should have been 93, however, he should have got at least 92-equivalent to Roman Reigns and Stone Cold Steve Austin.
AJ Styles, even after being the cover star getting 91 does not make any sense and that is a negative point in the game.
