Ed Zarick is the genius behind the new amazing console on the block that amalgamates the fun of our beloved consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This creation of Zarick is basically a 22 inch laptop that functions as half a PS4 and half a Xbox One. Zarick was known earlier for his creation of the individual laptops that served as the respective consoles, the design for the Play Box has been taken from another similar creation that “XbookDuo” which we all remember as the machine which combined the next and last generation Xbox consoles (Xbox One and Xbox 360).
Zarick further disclosed more details about the Play Box in his personal blog. This new laptop requires only a single power cord and the left side of the laptop functions as the PlayStation 4 and the right side functions as the Xbox One, hence only one of these units can be used and powered up at a time.
Also an HDMI switcher is used in the device to broadcast the required signals. A red switch located at the back end of the laptop helps in switching power between the PlayStation and Xbox modes. After encountering such a fascinating creation, gamers will be disappointed to know that this machine is not meant for mass production and exists as a customized product , Zarick has mentioned the possibility of having additional units to the existing product .
