Apex Legends rolled out a patch for the battle royale on April 2, 2019. Players who downloaded the patch had to face a severe issue as their progression was lost. Everything that the players had achieved in since the game's launch in February 2019 was lost. Though that was not the case.

The Developers at Respawn Entertainment quickly took action regarding the mess that was created due to the change of servers. Apex Legends servers were taken down and were fixed. At current players, progression was returned as they were till April 2, 2019. This means those who had played the game on and after April 2, 2019. Their Apex Legends progression will not be there.

Apex Legends developers had a problem on their end that moved the players of the game to a server which didn't their persistence. This resulted in the zero progression state which panicked several Apex Legends players. The issue is now solved and the players can continue to stack up to their achievements from the point where they left on April 2, 2019.

Apex Legends is a great battle royale title but it has been facing several issues which are worsening the game. One of the major issues of Apex Legends is the increasing number of cheaters in the game. Apex Legends cheat engine have banned more than 100k players who were cheating though it's not effective at all. Personally, I have encountered cheaters every 2 matches out of 10. Developers are working hard to fix the issues though they have to pick up the pace before the players lose their interest in the game.
