Best Upcoming MMOs In 2019 - Part 1 

Video Games have evolved drastically in the last few years, games like PlayerUnknown's Battleground and Fortnite Battle Royale alongside with other similar titles have changed the entire gaming community. The multiplayer Battle Royale games have attracted more players in less time than any other genre in Gaming. Though many people think that single player games or Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games(MMORPG) are almost dead, which is not true. Games like God of War 4, Red Dead Redemption 2(Not Considering Online) proved that single player games are still a force to be reckoned with. Similarly MMOs like Blade and Soul, Neverwinter, Elder Scrolls Online, Black Desert Online signifies that there are still some decent MMOs to play. We have a list of some new upcoming MMORPG's which are bound to release this year or beyond.

Pantheon Rise of Fallen

Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen is an upcoming crowdfunded MMORPG being developed by Visionary Realms. It takes place on the high-fantasy world of Terminus which is a wildly diverse land formed from fragments of many different realms and times, bringing with them their unique civilizations and deities.

Gameplay:-Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen is considered to be a spiritual successor to “classically-spirited” MMORPGs such as EverQuest and Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, and will prominently feature a PvE-centric design, with plans for at least one PvP server at launch. Pantheon focuses on challenging content and the social aspects of gameplay, such as grouping and guilds, making friends, and earning a reputation in the community. Many aspects of gameplay are inspired by text-based MUD games. Typical character progression is slower paced than many modern MMORPGs in order to make content more meaningful. Combat is performed by selecting various spells and abilities based on character class and strategy. Pantheon uses a tab-targeting system.

Crowfall

Crowfall

Crowfall is an upcoming MMORPG game with real-time strategy (MMORPGRTS) developed and published by ArtCraft. The game was announced in January 2015, it is one of the crowdfunded MMO's which are considered as a savior of the genre.

Gameplay:-The game will play similarly to most MMORPGs, with the camera in a third person view with the player allowed to go anywhere. Where it differs is in the game's world system. There will be five systems of worlds, also known as campaigns. The systems will be "Eternal Kingdoms", "God's Reach", "The Infected", "The Shadow", and "Dregs", each with a different set of rules dictating them. Each world will also be procedurally generated, and will go through a cycle of life and death, starting with spring to summer, fall, and ending with winter. At the end of winter the campaign ends, and the world is gone forever, though the players will remain, allowed to travel to other worlds. Campaigns can last for 1, 3, or 6 months, to a year. The only worlds that don't die are the Eternal Kingdoms, where player housing is.

Project The Lineage

Project The Lineage is one of the most hyped MMORPG's which is bound to release this year or beyond. The game is developed by NCsoft and is a direct sequel to First Lineage game. It is one of the most beautiful upcoming MMO in terms of graphics, with a great gameplay. Though we don't have the story details of the game though the first lineage game story followed comic books with same title Lineage by Shin Il-sook, and the servers of Lineage which are named after the characters of the comic book. It is a fantasy story where a rightful prince reclaims the throne from the hands of a usurper. When first created, the game closely resembled the original work. As developers have added new features, however, the fictional universes of the two works have gradually diverged
