Fallout 76 is the first complete online fallout experience delivered to the audience on November 14, 2018. The game was one of the most ambitious projects Bethesda had ever done. At E3 2018 Bethesda's Conference we got the first look at the game. Soon after the reveal the fans entered the hype train while waiting for more details on the game or the release. However, the hype and urge to play Fallout 76 were soon over after the game launched.

Fallout 76 launched on November 14, 2019, with a day one patch of 45 GB. Players were annoyed with the patch size meanwhile that was not all that the game had stored for the players. Fallout 76 players encountered more than 1000 bugs in the game and it's a matter of fact. The game crashed with an error (CE-34878-0) which required players to re-install the game with all the updates or re-install the OS.

Fallout 76 was a disastrous game with crashes, server disconnect, bugs which were encountered on a daily basis and a ton of other problems. The game had no NPC's and the quest line without any human NPC was simply boring. There were tons of exploits, bugs and other marketing issues which resulted in a backlash from the community.

People were not happy about a lot of things and they simply wanted refunds. The community was not happy with Bethesda for selling a broken unfinished game. The backlash from the community was seen on Steam, community forums and other places. There were a lot of problems which had to be addressed and fixed soon.

Fallout 76 bugs were addressed and fixed by the developers with that the game was playable and with some of the major and minor bugs gone it was the right time to dig into the game. Fallout 76 community survived and in April 2019 the game was in a pretty decent state. The crashes, server issues, glitches and every other thing that made the game unplayable was almost gone.

At one of the Bethesda's events, Todd Howard with some of the team members gave us a little glimpse of Fallout 76 roadmap. At E3 2019 Bethesda's conference we finally learned about two new things which were a huge turn of events for the Fallout 76 community. The game got a brand new battle royale mode which is playable right now. The other huge addition to the game which was coming in the near future was the Wastelanders DLC which introduces human NPC's in the game.

The Nuclear Winter and Wastelanders are two new free to download DLC's for Fallout 76. Nuclear winter is a battle royale mode with up to 76 players in each match. The new game mode follows the basics of battle royale meanwhile giving its own fallout style finishing touches.

Nuclear Winter is one of the best thing Fallout 76 has to offer to their players. It is fun to play with or without friends. On the hand, we have the upcoming Wastelanders DLC which is going to introduce human NPC's in the game. The RPG style tree system, new quests, legendaries, new enemies and much more is going to be added in the coming update.

According to Bethesda, it was their plan from beginning to release the game with no NPCs. They have huge plans for the game and after the E3 2019, we can confirm that the game is going to get better and better in the near future.

Fallout 76 has a lot of content to offer to its community and we know that the game had a rough start. For now, my personal response is to wait for the game and its future updates. Have a little more trust in the developers and let's see how far this game goes. Will it become the worst game of a generation? or Will it become an example for other developers and games like Bioware, Anthem?
