Executive Producer of Battlefield Hardline, Steve Papoutsis, has revealed some more details about the upcoming shooter title in his recent Q&A session on Twitter. These include some new features that players can expect to see in the final version of the game.
Firstly, the game will include a wide range of weapons and gadgets for players to choose from. According to Steve, there will be about 51 weapons and 28 gadgets which he states will be “more than you can carry”. The game will also include 27 new vehicles which players can drive/pilot.
Battlefield Hardline’s multiplayer section will consist of 7 modes and 9 maps in total. However, the game will not feature a co-op mode in the single player story mode which is a bit disappointing. The game is not an open-world title either.
But Papoutsis has stated that the game runs much smoother this time, and many of the games modes have been improved since the last beta. It’s great to see EA and Visceral Games take in player feedback to improve their upcoming title. In fact, the main reason for the games delay was because the developers were polishing up the gameplay.
Papoutsis has also confirmed that there will be another beta stage before the games official launch. He will be revealing more details about the upcoming beta stage this coming Wednesday. You can follow his Twitter profile if you want to stay up to date on the latest announcements for Battlefield Hardline.
Battlefield Hardline is an upcoming shooter title by Visceral Games and EA that has a cops and robbers theme. The game will be launching on March 17th for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC platforms.
