FIFA 18 hit the stores in September 2018 and is a hit amongst both casual gamers and passionate fans. The game featured the Frostbite engine for the second time, which lead to immense gameplay and physics improvements. Like the trading on-loan player glitch, the transfer budget glitch is less of an annoyance and more of an exploit. Players could easily make over a billion dollars in FIFA career mode with this glitch in just a single season, turning cash-strapped Ligue 1 clubs to financial giants.
The glitch requires a player to be offered an extraordinarily high amount of wages at the start of a season. Then, one has to simulate to the next season and trade the high-wage player in a straight swap with a player of their choice. Decline any release clauses and accept the deal to trigger the glitch.
The departure of the high-wage player clears up the enormous wage budget, which could then be allocated to the transfer budget, supplying the team an amount that is close to a billion dollars.
#4 Referee Glitch
The curious case of the disappearing referees has plagued a number of FIFA 18 gamers. Users have complained that the glitch is usually seen when they are awarded a penalty.
The referee awards a rightful penalty much to the displeasure of the opposing team and slowly walks off the pitch and marches into the stands leaving the players of both the teams stranded on the pitch.
However, this glitch is temporary and after a while, the referee magically appears at the spot and triggering the penalty graphic.
#3 Halftime Glitch
Many users have reported the halftime glitch that forces the player to forfeit the match and register a loss against their name.
As the name says, the game glitches at the end of the first half. A graphic showing the match highlights pops up the moment the referee blows his whistle; however, the game soon brings the player back to the pitch.
Players of both the teams are frozen and one cannot get out of this loop without quitting the match.
Interestingly, the match referee disappears and is never to be seen again during the glitch.

The celebration freeze has annoyed many players worldwide, mainly due to the timing of the glitch. The game glitches out the moment a player scores a goal and begins his celebration.
The goalscorer and his teammates begin their celebration, which is abruptly cut short by a replay. However, once that is done, the game refuses to progress; the goalscorer is frozen, and his teammates continue to celebrate while their opponents slowly walk back to the centre of the pitch in disappointment.
The goalscorer resumes movement and celebrates for one more time before the restart. However, at times, the frozen player never moves, and one has to restart the game to get out of this annoying glitch.
#1 Goalkeeper Freeze Glitch
At times, FIFA 18 glitches when the ball is with the goalkeeper, which is usually seen when the players are trying to build an attack from the back.
The goalkeeper receives the pass and knocks the ball away from him in the box. The keeper refuses to move in a proper fashion to secure the loose ball until an attacker from the opposing team rushes towards the ball. Then, the keeper 'wakes up' from his bizarre state and tries to tackle the attacker who taps the ball into the back of the net.
The game glitching out in this fashion during a championship game must have forced players to scream or even ragequit in frustration.
