#5 Stephan El Shaarawy | 81 | LW | AS Roma | Italy

<p>
El Shaarawy has always been brilliant on FIFA games

Stephan El Shaarawy kicks off the list in the fifth spot. The 25-year-old footballer netted nine goals and set up seven other for AS Roma during the 2017/18 season, which ensured that he would retain his rating in this year's FIFA game.

The Italian winger's 87 pace and 83 dribbling, combined with a high attack work rate position him as a very agile and aggressive player in the wide areas of the pitch. However, with his 58 physical, expect reasonable amounts of challenge while trying to overpower defenders to create goalscoring chances.

#4 Federico Bernardeschi | 82 | RM | Juventus | Italy

<p>
Bernardeschi scored in the recent win against Frosinone

Federico Bernardeschi features five stars for skill moves in FIFA 19, which is higher than what is seen in FIFA 18.

Most of the stats of the 24-year-old Italian wide midfielder do not see large deviations apart from the passing and defending attribute. The Juventus man boasts 56 for defending, which is loads higher than his meagre 30+ rating found in the previous game.

Brnardeschi's 80 passing, 83 pace and 85 dribbling allow him to dictate the game in the midfield area. His shooting, however, received a downgrade of one point in FIFA 19, which restricts his goalscoring ability.

#3 Juan Cuadrado | 84 | RM | Juventus | Columbia

<p>
Cuadrado is a skilled winger

Juan Cuadrado received an upgrade to his overall, taking it to 84 in FIFA 19. Despite being 30 years old, the wide midfielder from Columbia boasts 91 pace and is one of the fastest players in the game.

Cuadrado's extraordinary dribbling skills combined with 80-rated crossing and short passing skills allow him to dictate the game in the wide areas of the pitch. His high attack work rate is an added bonus.

The only downsides being his mediocre strength and below-par finishing attribute.

#2 Douglas Costa | 86 | LM | Juventus | Brazil

<p>
The third Juve-player on this list

Douglas Costa is yet another Juventus player who boasts five stars for skill moves. The Brazilian wide midfielder had a very good 2017/18 season with the Turin club, which warranted an increase to his overall. The 28-year-old is the fastest player in Serie A, thanks to his 95-rated pace attribute.

Costa's excellent dribbling skills and high attacking work rate make him a very dangerous player in the wide areas of the pitch. However, the Brazilian's physical and shooting attributes are a disappointment, though.

#1 Cristiano Ronaldo | 94 | ST | Juventus | Portugal

<p>
Ronaldo is the joint-highest rated player on the game

Cristiano Ronaldo tops the list and is also the joint highest-rated player in the game. The 33-year-old Portuguese international has shown no signs of ageing and made a high-profile move to the Serie A champions Juventus at the start of the 2018/19 season.

With 90 pace and 90 dribbling, Ronaldo can zoom past even the best defenders with ease, while his four-star rated weak foot ability, combined with 93 shooting allow him to put the ball into the back of the net from almost impossible positions.

Furthermore, the Portuguese striker is equally good in the air as well.
