It is that time of the year when FIFA’s latest iteration is starting to become old. FIFA 19 has been there for almost a year now and we have seen some good and bad ratings from the Electronic Arts developer team. While most other things change in every new release of the game, there is one thing which is the strongest aspect of player ratings in the every title. It is speed, an attribute which completely changes the output while playing.

FIFA 19 boasted off some fast runners like Jurgen Damm of Tigres UANL, Gareth Bale of Real Madrid, Leroy Sane of Manchester City, Kylian Mbappe of PSG and Adama Traore of Wolves.

It is not long before FIFA 20 hits the market, so we have come up with 5 players who are expected to be the fastest in the new iteration of the game.

#5. Leroy Sane

The Manchester City winger has immense amount of pace making it very difficult for defenders to deal with him. The German also has a record for 35.48 km/h speed. He has had a brilliant 2018-2019 season, where he played a total of 47 games for City and scored a total of 16 goals with 18 assists to his name. His pace is one of the strongest aspects of his game, causing all sorts of problems on the left flank. Sane is very suitable for the Premier League because of the league's fast gameplay, cruel counter attacks and demand for speedy players. Sane is no doubt one of the most important players in City’s arsenal which they have used and developed brilliantly to flourish at Etihad. Leroy Sane had 96 sprint speed and 93 acceleration in FIFA 19 which goes to show that he is expected to develop even more in FIFA 20 and become one of the fastest players in the game.

#4. Inaki Williams

Inaki Williams is one of the best talents to emerge and play for Spanish club Athletic Bilbao. Williams mostly plays as a centre-forward for Bilbao, he has also operated as a midfielder occasionally. He has blistering pace and unquestionable dribbling skills, he even has great vision to play key passes when needed. The Spanish youngster has been recorded with a speed of 35.71 km/hr, he could even run faster considering he is yet to hit his prime peak. He has also played for Spanish U-21 National team, the young talent has already surpassed fastest players like Sofiane Feghouli with his incredible speed. It won’t be a huge surprise if we see him in the Premier League soon, as the league demands players with great speed and power, troubling defenders and performing cunning counter-attacks.

Williams had a 94 sprint speed and 92 acceleration which I think was underrated according to his pace. He also had a 81 rating and 87 potential for growth in the career mode, which means he would grow more and get better at everything.

#3. Gareth Bale

Gareth Bale has been the epitome of speed for a few years now, his early spells at Tottenham were a striking example of a young talented footballer who was going places which he did. The Real Madrid star has probably been one of the fastest players for a long time now. He has been a great role model for athletes too. It is recorded that Bale has ran at a speed of 36.9 km/hr which is an astonishing figure.

The Welshman's pace has crumbled and harassed defenders, leaving slow players in the dust. His run against against Inter Milan is a memorable one, where he basically teared through right-back Maicon to score a tremendous solo goal. Bale is certainly one of the main players in the Real Madrid line-up more so when there is no Ronaldo to bail them out. Gareth Bale has 95 sprint speed and 94 acceleration in FIFA 19. The newer game will see him as one of the fastest players yet again.

#2. Kylian Mbappe

Kylian Mbappe defines speed in his own way. He is a speed monster with lightning pace and acceleration. Mbappe was making headlines since his time at AS Monaco as a youngster and now at Paris Saint-Germain he has really shown what he is made of. Mbappe has won the World Cup with France and was also chosen as the best Young Player of the Tournament.

Mbappe has lightning pace and acceleration, he also has great footballing intelligence and technique. He has always been a pain to deal with for defenders with his immense pace and dribbling skills. He has 96 rating for both sprint speed and acceleration in FIFA 19. He also has an overall rating of 87 which goes to show his qualities as a player. Most importantly, Mbappe is only 20 years old, he is far from his prime and has already earned so much recognition. FIFA 20 will definitely put the star as one of the best and fastest players in the game.

#1. Adama Traore

Adama Traore plays for English club Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. He is most certainly the fastest player in the Premier League. The Spanish footballer is an outstanding athlete who is regularly compared to the likes of Usain Bolt. Traore is recorded to touch 37 km/hr mark which is an insane amount of pace for a footballer. These numbers are usually of Olympic sprinters. He is so fast that it looks like he is gliding past defenders like they were snails.

The Wolves star has also played for Spain U-21 National team. His pace usually gets people off their seats, he also has decent amount of strength which most pacers commonly lack. He is the fastest player in the FIFA 19 game with a 97 acceleration and 96 sprint speed. These stats are off the charts, as no one is FIFA has an acceleration rating of 97. Traore is just 23 years of age which means he still has space to get even faster, making him the number one choice for the fastest player in FIFA 20.
