EA Sports have finally unveiled their FIFA 20 ratings and the fans are abuzz about it. EA have revealed the top 100 players in the game along with the legends who will be available in the FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) mode.
Without further ado, here are the top 10 players in the game:
90 – Van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, Luka Modric and Ter Stegen (#10 - #7)
4 players have been rated at 90 in FIFA 20 and they are Virgil Van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, Luka Modric and Marc-André ter Stegen.
Van Dijk had one of the best seasons ever by a defender last year and has got yet another upgrade in the game. The Dutch defender was rated at 85 initially in FIFA 19 but was upgraded to 88 in the FIFA 19 Winter Refresh. Now, in FIFA 20, his ratings have been boosted to 90 – making him the best defender in the game!
Mohamed Salah might not have been at his best last season but he did help Liverpool win the UEFA Champions League and finish runners up in the Premier League. He shared the Premier League Golden Boot as well, with Sadio Mane and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Luka Modric, the winner of the Ballon d'Or in December 2018, did not enjoy a great season at Real Madrid. He finished trophyless as a result of which he has received a downgrade in FIFA 20. The Croatian was rated at 91 in FIFA 19 but has been pushed to 90 in the new version.
The final player in the top 10 to be rated at 90 is Barcelona's goalkeeper, Marc-André ter Stegen. The German has been at his best for the last couple of years and is showing exactly why the Catalan side signed him up. He was rated at 89 in FIFA 19 and has got a well-deserved upgrade.
91 – Eden Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne and Jan Oblak (#6 - #4)
There are 3 players – Eden Hazard, Kevin de Bruyne and Jan Oblak – who have been rated at 91 in FIFA 20.
Hazard was at his best for Chelsea last season and many will credit him for the club finishing 3rd in the Premier League. He even helped them win the UEFA Europa League before getting his dream move to Real Madrid in the summer. However, the Belgian has not been handed an upgrade and stays at 91.
Kevin de Bruyne missed a lot of last season with injury but has managed to retain his rating of 91 in FIFA. The Belgian has had a stunning start to the new season and despite being one of the favourites to be handed a downgrade, he has managed to remain at 91.
Jan Oblak might have finished last season trophyless but he was brilliant throughout the season. He has been handed an upgrade from 90 in FIFA 19 to 91 in FIFA 20.
92 – Neymar (#3)
Just like Kevin de Bruyne, Neymar's FIFA 20 ratings have surprised us all. The Brazilian missed a few weeks last season with an injury and was not at his best when he was on the pitch. However, he has retained his rating of 92 in the game and will be the best left winger in FIFA 20.
93 – Cristiano Ronaldo (#2)
History will be made as Cristiano Ronaldo will be the highest-rated player in the history of Piemonte Calcio. The Portuguese star will be rated at 93 in FIFA 20 and will be the 2nd best player in the game after being handed a downgrade from 94.

94 – Lionel Messi (#1)
After sharing the laurels with Ronaldo last season, Lionel Messi is back on top of the pile this year. The Argentine will be rated at 94 in FIFA 20 and will be the best player in the game.
Messi will be a right-winger in the game, just like in the previous version. His pace has reduced by 1 but his shooting (+1) and passing (+4) have increased.
